Apartment 4 is affectionately named 'The Jewel' by our family. We love independently hosting guests in our spacious and luxurious retreat, located within the popular Whitecrest Resort. The Jewel enjoys panoramic views across the Great Ocean Road coastline. Relax in a romantic corner spa or by the gas log fire, soaking up the epic view of waves crashing into the rugged coastline. Stay in to enjoy the shared resort facilities of a swimming pool, tennis court and games room, or venture out to explore the secluded cove and swimming/surf beach along the iconic road.

The Jewel is perfect for a couple, couple of families or friends.

The space

This is our families cherished holiday home, independent of but located within the popular Whitecrest Resort, it is nestled on a rise, along the iconic Great Ocean Road, and Apartment 4 “The Jewel” is the prime location. Catch your breath, relax and cherish the panoramic mountain or ocean views and stunning waves crashing into the rugged coastline. Recently updated with modern amenities and contemporary styling Dan and I hope you have an enjoyable stay.

The Jewel is a luxuriously spacious apartment with a private balcony, electric BBQ and expansive multileveled deck. The outdoor dining area allows you to truely emerge yourself in seaside living. Downstairs includes an open plan full kitchen, living and dining area with wall to wall windows, 2 of the 3 Queen beds, one of the bathrooms with a romantic corner spa bath and separate shower.
The top level comprises of the true jewel of the resort, the master bedroom with a large private bathroom and its own tranquil mezzanine living room. Making it the perfect option for those travelling with a group or second family. The upstairs mezzanine living room can be converted to a 4th bedroom on request, includes a double (sofa) bed and single (pull out bed). All linen and towels provided.

The electric BBQ outdoors is in the comfort of the undercover balcony which wraps around the apartment and leads onto a large outdoor dining area on the expansive 73m SQ multileveled deck, at night you have the perfect vantage point to see the stars, or catch an aurora borealis.

Situated in Whitecrest Resort, as a guest of ‘The Jewel’ you can make the most of the shared facilities run by the resort which include:
- a swimming pool overlooking the ocean
- tennis court (includes basketball ring)
- games room where you can play billiards, Snooker, Pool, table tennis, foosball and video games. This can be unlocked using your room key.

Located 10 minutes from Apollo Bay and Kennett River, The Jewel at Whitecrest is central to the sights, wonders and tastes of the Great Ocean Road.

Self-contained with everything you need for your trip away; fully equipped kitchen with hot plates, oven, microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning/heating on both levels ensures everyones comfort all day and night no matter the weather outside. Complimentary fast Wi-fi*, flat-screen TV, washing machine and separate dryer nestled in an European laundry. Onsite allocated free park with your own private entrance, the Jewel of Whitecrest Resort welcomes you, and will be your serene abode for your getaway.

Guest access

Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment, balcony, multileveled deck and car park #4. The only exception is a couple of locked cupboards/drawers.
Guests have access to resort managed facilities such as the swimming pool, tennis court and games room, these are shared with guests of other apartments within the resort.

Neighborhood overview

Our family had been searching a while to find the perfect hidden section of coastline along the popular Great Ocean Road. It is truely a wondrous combination of being surrounded by and immersed in nature with a large amount of biodiversity in every direction to suit every traveller. We enjoy all the amenities and creature comforts of modern facilities and the town of Apollo Bay is only 10minutes away. With access to all the Whitecrest Resort shared facilities such as the games room, tennis court and pool included, everyone can enjoy what they like to do within the comfort of a private resort. I never dreamed of finding somewhere so close to the whales and dolphins without having to step outside or having a short walk to the hidden cove and swimming/surf beach.

Getting around

It is recommended to have your own car as it is ten minutes out of town.

House Rules

Other things to note
HOUSE RULES
• We have a strict NO SMOKING policy in our apartment
• We arrange for the apartment to have a full clean prior to your arrival. We request that you leave the apartment in a clean and tidy state and treat it as if it were your own home.

Whitecrest Resort rules:
• Do not play loud music or use outdoor recreation areas between 11.00 pm to 7.00 am
• No parties or functions.
• Behave responsibly during your stay, no yelling or aggressive behaviour. If a complaint is received your stay may be terminated early.
- No pets

We reserve the right to request payment from yourself should the following additional expense result from your stay at our house:
• Extra cleaning including BBQ, dishes etc.
• Lost keys and remote controls
• Unnecessary call outs, breakages or damage.
• Missing linen, towels or items removed from the house.
• As a guest of the property, you indemnify the owners of the property of any liability caused by you or your guests, which may arise during your stay at the property.
